MMCC supported the 2009 Funfest with a caravan of seven cars led by one of our Charter members Tom Mallory driving his 1995 Pace car.
Upon arrival we immediately made it to the De - cow and installed a MMCC club sticker which was created and donated by Sherwood Mann of Sherwood Signs of Moberly. Lots of cars and lots of vendors were present. Some of the new events were the Exhaust wars at which you back your car into an area and sound off to be measured by lights and a meter. They also had a burnout pit but there were complaints of wheel hop due to the rough concrete finish. Lot's of vendors and every accessory and gadget you can imagine was there for sale.
Larry Morrison made a splash at the dyno as they ran his car up over 200 mph measuring the torque. He was immediately surrounded by people wanting to know how his seemingly stock Z06 Corvette was so strong on the Dyno.
The day was somewhat hampered due to the rain and some of us retreated to the hotel a little early.
